Australian Masterclass Concert Program
Founded by internationally renowned pianist Alan Kogosowski, the Australia Masterclass Concert Program aims to train students and expose them to the glamor and excitement of great music presented in a gala concert their own school hall.
The masterclass brings together the artist–pianist, violinist, cellist or singer, classical or other–and the mentor, who imparts his knowledge and experience and offers helpful tips and suggestions for future development.
Computer Hand Strain
International performer Alan Kogosowski shares the secrets of an experienced concert pianist in dealing with the problems of carpal tunnel syndrome and tendinitis caused by the use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Repetitive strain injury, as it is officially known, has many names, but basically it is the pain and possible partial paralysis of the hand and wrist that is affecting thousands and thousands of computer users at home and in the workplace.
The Kogosowski Award
This website provides a platform to define the characteristics that make a great concert performance, taking specific examples by any and all pianists–alive or dead–of various different works.
This competition is different from the many international piano competitions, possibly 100 going on every year somewhere in the world. This number has increased exponentially from the handful of famous international competitions each held once every four years or so.
